# Connect an assistant

Every assistant connects to the same endpoint:

```
https://mcp.dyme.earth/api/mcp
```

Enter it exactly as written, with nothing after it. Claude works out where the result cards are allowed to run from this address, and a changed address stops the cards from drawing.

The traveller needs a Dyme account. Anyone can create one at [dyme.earth](https://dyme.earth). A connection lasts 90 days; after that the traveller signs in again.

## Claude

Works on every Claude plan, on the web, desktop and mobile apps.

1. In Claude, open **Settings**, then **Connectors**.
2. Find **Dyme** in the directory. While the listing is in review, choose **Add custom connector** and enter the endpoint above.
3. Choose **Connect**. A Dyme sign-in page opens. Sign in with your Dyme account.
4. Ask something like "Find me a hotel near the Colosseum in Rome for three nights in December."

Results appear as cards. Step-by-step page: [dyme.earth/ai/claude](https://dyme.earth/ai/claude).

## ChatGPT

Dyme is not yet in ChatGPT's app directory. Until it is, a ChatGPT account with developer mode can add it as a custom app:

1. In ChatGPT, open **Settings**, then **Apps**, and turn on **Developer mode**.
2. Choose **Create app**, name it Dyme, and enter the endpoint above. Choose OAuth.
3. Sign in with your Dyme account when asked.

Results appear as cards. ChatGPT keeps a copy of an app's tool list, so after Dyme adds a tool, a ChatGPT app made earlier may not show it until it is added again.

## Meta Muse

1. In Muse, add a custom connector with the full endpoint above, including `/api/mcp`.
2. Muse registers itself. If its form asks for a client ID, any value works.
3. Sign in with your Dyme account when asked.

Muse shows answers as text. Each hotel or flight answer ends with a link to a page that shows the same results as cards, with a button to ask Muse to book.

## Dyme's own surfaces

The same tools power Chloe on Dyme's website (the AI tab on travel.dyme.earth) and Chloe by phone. Neither needs connecting.

## Other MCP clients

Sign-in only returns to addresses Dyme has approved: Claude, ChatGPT and Meta Muse today. A different client can register, but its sign-in will be refused at the return step. To connect a new assistant or product, email hello@dyme.earth with its OAuth callback address. See [Sign-in and authentication](https://dyme.earth/ai/docs/authentication).
