# Quickstart

One search, end to end, with what comes back. The call below was made against the live server; prices are from the day it was made.

## 1. Connect

In Claude: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, and enter `https://mcp.dyme.earth/api/mcp`. Choose Connect and sign in with a Dyme account. Other assistants: [Connect an assistant](https://dyme.earth/ai/docs/connect).

For a client you configure by file:

Claude Code: `claude mcp add --transport http dyme https://mcp.dyme.earth/api/mcp`.

Sign-in finishes only for clients whose callback address Dyme has approved. Claude, ChatGPT and Meta Muse are approved. Claude Code, Cursor and most desktop clients sign in through a `localhost` callback, which the production server refuses; see [For developers](https://dyme.earth/ai/docs/developers) for how to get an address added.

## 2. Ask

## 3. What comes back

The result has two parts. The text is what the assistant's model reads; the structured content is the same facts as JSON, and the card is drawn from it.

In Claude and ChatGPT this draws a carousel of hotel cards. The assistant says Chloe's take in its own words and leaves the list to the card.

## 4. Follow up

Every follow-up takes the `trip_id`, so nothing is searched twice:

`search_flights` answers with Chloe's take (best value, safest, most flexible), the fares, and a `trip_id` for `refine_flights`, `compare_fare_options`, `compare_fares` and `review_booking`.
