How Dyme Works
When you purchase any of our products, a portion of the revenue is invested into solar energy projects. We collaborate with various organizations across the US and Asia to build solar farms, ensuring a steady supply of clean energy.
Purchase. consumers of Dyme Travel make purchases through Dyme’s platform for flights, car rentals, or hotels. These purchases come with discounted prices and promises of reducing personal carbon footprint.
Commission. Dyme has agreements with the partners listed on the platform that grant a certain percentage of the money paid by consumers for the products, which provides funds for Dyme to invest in sustainability projects and maintain operation costs.
Profit. From the commission that Dyme receives from consumer purchases, Dyme takes a small percentage of the money as profit for the company, and invests the rest into sustainable solar projects.
Investment. As a for-profit organization, we generate revenue through solar operations, yield from energy production, and partnerships. We allocate a portion of our investments, such as 10% from sources like hotels, into these funds. By investing in funds, we support a diverse portfolio of solar projects. These investments help promote sustainable energy solutions and create financial returns, establishing us to continue expanding our impact.
Carbon reduction. By investing into these funds, we are able to reduce significant CO2 emissions. We are able to calculate these emissions though our carbon accounting model to ensure that our investments maximize CO2 reductions.
