Launching products that reduce emissions
In 2024, Carvel partnered with Oatly, a plant-based milk company, to produce oat milk ice cream for its products. Oat milk decreases 72% in carbon dioxide emissions, uses 92% less water and 91% less land to be produced. By adding oat milk options in it’s menu, Carvel is significantly reducing emissions in their supply chain.
Investing in renewable energy
To reduce carbon emissions even further, Carvel is launching eco-friendly gift cards in partnership with Dyme. For every gift card sold, as a thank you, Carvel is going to support clean energy for schools and communities in the US, at no extra cost for the consumer. Consumers will be also able to account their carbon emissions in Dyme’s app.
