Nasty Gal is committed to making our planet a better place to live
Smart design, better materials and less waste
By 2025, Nasty Gal is committed to source 100% of cotton and polyester from recycled or sustainable sources, including organic cotton, Better Cotton and Cotton Connect, as well as synthetic cellulosics. All of the leather, wool, feather and down will be sourced in line with industry best practice. By 2030, the goal is to have all the materials being sustainably sourced.
Fair trade with suppliers and their workers
Since 2021, Nasty Gal discloses factory lists and purchasing practices to bring transparency to the industry and making sure those practices protect the workers and assure the quality of the clothes they produce. By 2025, Nasty Gal’s goal is to have the whole supply chain mapped to key fibers, from the raw material until the factory.
Reducing the carbon footprint
Nasty Gal is looking at tackling climate change. The goal is to make it easier for customers to make more sustainable choices, by making sure sustainability is a key part of their business decision making. Nasty Gal launched in partnership with Dyme an eco-friendly gift card, in which a portion of the spend goes to fund solar energy for schools and communities in the US.

- We use our profits to support solar energy projects in schools and communities
- The solar projects bring clean energy, cheaper utilities and create jobs for those communities
