Dyme Miles
Earning, redeeming, and stacking with your other rewards.
What are Dyme Miles?
Dyme Miles is our travel rewards program that earns 1 Mile per $1 spent on any Dyme booking. Redeem on any airline, any hotel, any car. No blackouts, no expiration, no award charts. And because Dyme Miles are an impact currency, each Mile represents funding for renewable energy projects around the world.
How do I earn Dyme Miles?
1 Mile per $1 on every Dyme booking: hotels, flights, cars, and gift cards. No spending categories, no quarterly activations, no minimum spend.
How do I redeem Dyme Miles?
Apply some or all of your balance at checkout on any future booking. The rest goes on your card. Works on any airline, any hotel, any car bookable through Dyme.
What's the value of a Dyme Mile?
You'll see the number of miles required to redeem to book travel at checkout. No peak pricing, no devaluation, no partner-conversion games.
Do Dyme Miles expire?
No. There's no expiration and no minimum balance. Once earned Miles are yours.
Can I still earn my credit card and airline rewards when booking with Dyme?
Yes. Dyme Miles stack on top of everything you already earn. Chase, Amex, and Capital One points still post. Airline miles and hotel loyalty points still post. Dyme Miles are the layer on top. The rewards rules of your card or travel provider apply.
How are Dyme Miles different from credit card or airline rewards?
Three differences. One: every Mile funds solar projects that put clean power in schools, clinics, and homes. Two: no blackouts, no award charts. Miles redeem at face value on any booking. Three: they stack on top of your existing programs instead of replacing them.

What are Dyme Gift Cards?
Gift cards from 100+ brands. Buy them through Dyme and every purchase earns Miles and funds clean energy projects.
Where can I use Dyme Gift Cards?
At the brand on the card. A Starbucks gift card works at Starbucks; an Amazon gift card works on Amazon. Same as any retailer-issued card.
How do I buy Dyme Gift Cards?

Do Dyme Gift Cards reload?
No. Buy the amount you want at purchase. If you need more, buy another card.
Can I buy gift cards in bulk for my business?
Yes. Email hello@dyme.earth with the brand, amount per card, and total quantity.
Do gift card purchases earn Dyme Miles? (Gift Cards)
Yes. 1 Mile per $1 on every gift card. They redeem on any future Dyme booking, same as Miles earned on travel.
How do gift cards support clean energy?
Every $1 you spend on Dyme, including gift cards, supports an estimated 29 lbs of CO₂ avoided through our solar portfolio.
09
Climate Impact
How we calculate impact, why solar over offsets, and where the money goes.
How does Dyme support clean energy?
We use part of every booking margin to fund solar projects for schools, clinics, and homes. Each $1 booked supports an estimated 29 lbs of CO₂ avoided over the 30-year life of the projects.
How much CO₂ does my booking offset?
~29 lbs per dollar spent. A $400 weekend trip funds ~11,600 lbs of avoided CO₂, roughly 12,800 miles of gas-car driving averted. Full math is on our impact page.
Why does Dyme support solar projects instead of carbon offsets?
Carbon offsets often pay for things that would have happened anyway, or for forests that get cut down later. Solar is verifiable physical infrastructure: panels go in the ground, communities save on power bills for 30 years, emissions never enter the air to begin with. For more details, take a look at our page Why We Build Solar.
How do you calculate the carbon impact of my trip?
We use Google Travel Impact calculations to calculate emissions rates per flight. Google uses a range of factors such as distance, aircraft type and class of travel to determine emissions. Full methodology can be found here: https://developers.google.com/travel/impact-model.
Where does the money actually go?
We partner with a wide range of developers around the world who build the solar projects. Each developer is carefully vetted for their financial stability, track record and viability of project.
Where do I see Dyme's full impact?
Our Impact Page shows solar capacity, clean energy generated, CO₂ avoided, and partner-school savings, all updated regularly.
Does Dyme charge me extra for the climate impact?
No. The price you see is the price you pay. We don't add a climate fee or sell offsets on top of bookings. The clean-energy funding comes out of our supplier commission, not your wallet.
