Using your gift card
Yes, both in store and online. Academy does not publish a cap on how many cards you can apply to a single transaction.

No. Physical cards are active at purchase and e-gift cards are ready to use as soon as they arrive by email.
Physical and e-gift cards run $10 to $500 through academy.com or any Academy register. Through Dyme, e-gift denominations are $25 to $200.
Balance, reloads & expiry
No. Academy gift cards do not expire and carry no dormancy or service fees. The full purchased value stays on the card until redeemed.
Enter the card number and PIN on Academy's gift card balance page at academy.com, or ask an associate at any store register. Check your Academy balance.
No. Academy gift cards are not reloadable. Once the balance is spent, purchase a new card.
Refunds, lost cards & acceptance
No. Academy treats gift cards like cash. They are non-refundable once purchased and cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.
Academy cannot replace lost or stolen gift cards. The company treats them the same as cash, so there is no recovery once a card is gone. Store the card or code in a secure place and do not share it.
No. Academy gift cards are valid only at Academy Sports and Outdoors stores and on academy.com. They are not accepted at Dick's Sporting Goods, Bass Pro Shops, or any other retailer.
Buying & corporate
Yes. Academy runs a bulk and corporate gift-card program for volume orders for employee rewards, incentives, or promotions. Contact Academy's corporate gift-card team at academy.com to set one up.
