Using your gift card
Yes. Add several gift card codes to your account and the combined balance stacks toward any single eligible booking. If the booking costs more than the balance, the difference is charged to your card on file.
On most stays and Airbnb Experiences booked through airbnb.com or the Airbnb app, worldwide. The credit cannot be applied toward purchasing another gift card or toward Airbnb for Work bookings billed to a company account. See how to use your Airbnb card.
No activation is needed. Go to airbnb.com/gift, sign in, enter the code, and click Redeem. The balance loads to your account immediately and applies automatically at checkout.
Through Dyme, Airbnb e-gift cards from $25 to $500. Direct from airbnb.com, up to $1,000 per card. Retail racks typically carry $25, $50, $100, and $200 cards.
Balance, reloads & expiry
Once redeemed to your account, Airbnb gift card credit does not expire. Keep the card number and PIN safe until you redeem it, because an un-redeemed card that is lost is very difficult to recover.
Sign in to your Airbnb account and go to Account, Payments and payouts, Gift cards. The remaining balance shows there. Check your Airbnb balance.
No. You cannot top up an existing Airbnb gift card. Simply redeem additional cards to the same account and the balances stack.
Refunds, lost cards & acceptance
No. Airbnb gift cards are non-refundable once purchased. The balance can be passed along by sharing the unredeemed code, but Airbnb does not refund purchased cards to cash.
Airbnb is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards and does not offer replacement for them. The safest step is to redeem any physical or e-gift card to your account immediately on receipt, after which the credit is protected within your account rather than tied to a transferable code.
Yes. A US-purchased Airbnb gift card applies to eligible stays worldwide. At booking, Airbnb converts the USD balance to the listing's local currency automatically.

Yes. Airbnb runs a bulk and business gift-card program for companies sending credit to employees or clients, with volume ordering and invoicing. Contact Airbnb's gift card business team to start.
