Amazon.com sells e-gift cards from $0.01 to $2,000 and physical cards from $25 to $500. Through Dyme, Amazon cards come in preset amounts of $25, $50, $75, $100, $150, and $200.
Balance, reloads & expiry
No. Amazon gift card balances never expire and carry no fees. Once a code is redeemed to your account, the value stays until you spend it.
Redeemed balances show under Your Account, Gift Cards. To check an unredeemed card, enter the code at amazon.com/gc/balance. Check your Amazon balance.
Amazon does not offer a traditional reloadable gift card, but you can add additional codes at any time and they pool into the same account balance. Amazon also offers an auto-reload feature for your account balance if you set it up.
Refunds, lost cards & acceptance
Amazon gift cards generally cannot be refunded once purchased, except where required by law. A balance already redeemed to an account cannot be transferred back to a payment card.
If you purchased the card directly from Amazon, contact customer service and they can deactivate the original card and re-issue a new one. If you bought from a third-party store, Amazon treats it as a third-party sale and may not be able to assist; contact that retailer. For corporate bulk purchases, Amazon's terms state no replacement for lost or stolen cards. The safest step is to redeem any code to your account immediately.
Yes. Amazon gift card balances apply to Whole Foods Market in-store purchases, Amazon Fresh, Prime Video, Audible, and other Amazon-owned services. They cannot be used to purchase other gift cards on Amazon.
