Using your gift card

Yes. Redeem several codes into one Google account and the balances add together into a single Play balance that draws down with each purchase.

Open the Play Store app or visit play.google.com, go to Payments and subscriptions, choose Redeem code, and enter the code. The balance is added to your Google account and applies automatically at checkout.

No separate activation is needed. The code is active as soon as you receive it. Simply redeem it in the Play Store app or on play.google.com under Payments and subscriptions, and the balance posts immediately.

$25 to $200 through Dyme. Google and retail racks carry $10 up to $500, including variable-load and fixed-denomination cards.

Balance, reloads & expiry

No. Google Play balances do not expire once redeemed to your account and carry no fees. The credit stays available until you spend it.

Open the Play Store app, tap your profile icon, and select Payments and subscriptions to see the current balance on your Google account.

Yes, in effect. Each time you redeem a new Google Play gift code, the value is added to your existing account balance. There is no reload feature on the card itself; you simply redeem additional codes.

Refunds, lost cards & acceptance

Google is not responsible for lost, stolen, or destroyed gift cards or for codes used without your permission, and does not issue refunds in those cases. If you suspect fraud, contact Google Support at 1-855-466-4438 immediately; if the code has not yet been redeemed, there may be options. Treat unredeemed codes like cash.

No. Google Play gift cards are not refundable or transferable once purchased. If you bought a card from a retailer and it has not been redeemed, the retailer's own return policy may apply, but Google itself does not issue refunds on gift cards.

No. Google Play balance works only in the Google Play ecosystem on Android and the web. It cannot be used for Apple's App Store, iOS in-app purchases, or any non-Google platform.
