Using your gift card
Yes. Groupon Bucks (your redeemed gift card credit) stack with most promotional codes at checkout, though some limited-time deals exclude additional discounts. Any remaining balance carries forward to your next purchase.
Only at groupon.com or in the Groupon app. Once the code is redeemed, it converts to Groupon Bucks applied automatically to any deal in the catalog, including local experiences, goods, getaways, and restaurant offers. It cannot be spent outside Groupon. How to use your Groupon card
No separate activation step is required. Go to groupon.com/giftcards, sign in, and enter the code under the Redeem a Code section. The balance posts immediately as Groupon Bucks on your account.
$25 to $200 through Dyme. On groupon.com the range is typically $15 to $500. Physical cards on retail racks are usually $25, $50, or $100.
Balance, reloads & expiry
The purchased value on a Groupon gift card does not expire and carries no dormancy or service fees. The balance converts to Groupon Bucks in your account and stays there until spent. Note that individual Groupon vouchers you purchase with that credit do have their own expiration and fine-print rules, so check each deal before buying.
Once your code is redeemed, the balance lives in your Groupon account as Groupon Bucks. Sign in at groupon.com, open Account on desktop (or My Stuff on mobile) to see the current balance. You can also check directly on the Groupon gift card page. Check your Groupon balance
No. The card itself is not reloadable. Redeem additional codes into the same Groupon account to add more Bucks; each new code is applied separately.
Refunds, lost cards & acceptance
Groupon's terms state that gift cards will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or used without authorization. If you have the original code and it has not been redeemed, log in immediately and redeem it to secure the balance in your account. Contact Groupon support if you suspect unauthorized use.
No. Groupon gift card credit is locked to the Groupon platform. It becomes Groupon Bucks and cannot be transferred to other retailers, cashed out, or used on a different site.
Buying & corporate
Groupon does not operate a formal corporate bulk gift card program comparable to retailers. For volume orders, contact Groupon's merchant or partnerships team to explore options, or purchase multiple standard codes through an authorized reseller.
Groupon gift cards are sold through Kroger, Staples, and various third-party gift card sites. Some retailers like Costco have stocked discounted Groupon cards in the past, but availability rotates. On Dyme you buy at face value and earn 1 Dyme Mile per dollar. Groupon gift card buying guide
