No. IKEA gift cards carry no expiration date and no fees. The full value stays on the card until it is redeemed.

Refunds, lost cards & acceptance
No. IKEA gift cards are non-refundable once purchased and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law. They can be re-gifted or used on any future IKEA purchase.
IKEA treats gift cards like cash and will not replace a lost or stolen card. The card is not linked to any account or owner ID, so there is no way to freeze or recover it. Keep the card number and PIN secure.
No. IKEA gift cards are only redeemable at IKEA stores in the US and on ikea.com. They are not accepted at other furniture or home-goods retailers.
