No. L.L. Bean gift cards carry no expiration date and no dormancy, service, or inactivity fees. The balance stays intact whether redeemed next week or years from now.

Refunds, lost cards & acceptance
No. L.L. Bean gift cards are non-refundable once purchased. Merchandise purchased with the card can be returned under L.L. Bean's standard returns policy, and any refund goes back to a gift card.
Physical L.L. Bean gift cards cannot be replaced if lost, damaged, or stolen since they are treated like cash. For eGift cards, if you suspect unauthorized use, contact L.L. Bean customer service immediately. If the balance has not yet been spent, they may re-issue remaining value to a new card with proof of purchase (your original order confirmation). Act fast.
