This depends on the specific property and Bonvoy program terms. Gift card payments generally do not earn Bonvoy points at most properties, since they are treated as a non-qualifying payment method. Confirm with the hotel at check-in.
Through Dyme, presets run from $25 to $200. On gifts.marriott.com, cards are available in larger amounts as well.
Balance, reloads & expiry
No. Marriott gift cards do not expire and carry no dormancy fees. The full value is available until spent.

Refunds, lost cards & acceptance
Marriott gift cards work at most Marriott Bonvoy brands but not all. Excluded brands include Bulgari Hotels, Design Hotels, Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy, MGM Collection, Postcard Cabins, The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, and The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. Always confirm with the property before arrival.
Marriott recommends registering your card at gifts.marriott.com immediately after receiving it. If a registered card is lost or stolen, any remaining balance at the time of the report will be transferred to a new card. Call 1-800-442-6132 or report through your Bonvoy account promptly. Amounts spent before notification are not refunded.
Buying & corporate
Yes. Marriott has a corporate and group gifting program for events, client entertainment, and employee incentives. Contact the Marriott Gifting team via gifts.marriott.com for volume orders.
