Using your gift card
You can apply a card to part of a counter order and pay the remainder with another card or cash. The brand does not advertise a strict multi-card cap for in-store use.
At any Ole & Steen bakery location in the US. The card covers bread, pastries, cakes, sandwiches, salads, and coffee purchased at the counter. Ole & Steen does not currently offer online ordering for redemption.
No separate activation is required. Digital e-gift cards issued by Dyme are ready to show at the counter as soon as you receive the email.
Through Dyme, $10 to $100 with preset amounts. Physical cards purchased at the bakery counter may vary.
Balance, reloads & expiry
No. Ole & Steen gift cards do not expire and carry no dormancy or service fees. The full value stays on the card until redeemed.
Ask the bakery team to check it at any Ole & Steen counter, or enter the card details on the Ole & Steen balance page on their website.
Ole & Steen does not offer a publicly advertised reload program. When the balance runs out, purchase a new card.
Refunds, lost cards & acceptance
Ole & Steen is the international name for the Danish bakery Lagkagehuset, but US-issued gift cards are issued for US locations. Whether the balance carries across international markets depends on the issuing terms — contact Ole & Steen directly to confirm cross-country redemption before traveling.
Ole & Steen gift cards are generally non-refundable once purchased. They can be re-gifted or used toward any eligible purchase at the bakery counter.
According to Ole & Steen's cardholder terms, a replacement can be ordered for a lost or stolen gift card. Contact Ole & Steen directly with your card details and proof of purchase to initiate a replacement.
Buying & corporate
Ole & Steen does not advertise a standard corporate gift card program. For group or event orders, contact the bakery team directly — they can accommodate catering and custom cake orders.
