Using your gift card

Yes. Redeem each code into your wallet and the balances combine, up to the $150 wallet cap. You then pay for any item from the pooled wallet balance.

On PS5 or PS4: open PlayStation Store, select your profile, choose Redeem Code, enter the 12-digit code, and confirm. On mobile: open the PS Store app, tap the menu, select Redeem Code. Funds load immediately to your PSN wallet and can be spent on games, DLC, in-game currency, movies, or PlayStation Plus subscriptions. How to use your PlayStation Store card

Physical cards sold at retail are activated at the register at purchase. Digital codes delivered by email are active immediately -- go straight to Redeem Code in your PlayStation account and enter the 12-digit code.

Through Dyme, $10 to $100 in standard increments. Physical cards at Walmart, Best Buy, Target, GameStop, and Amazon are commonly $10, $25, $50, and $100.

Balance, reloads & expiry

The code itself has no printed expiration date. Once redeemed into your PSN wallet, the balance never expires and carries no fees under current US policy. Redeem promptly to avoid any future policy changes.

Once redeemed, the value lives in your PSN wallet -- not on the card itself. Sign in at account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com and open Payment Management, or check the Wallet section under your profile on a PS5 or PS4. Unredeemed codes cannot be looked up by PIN. Note that the PSN wallet has a $150 maximum balance. Check your PlayStation Store balance

PlayStation Store gift cards are single-use vouchers -- you redeem the code once and the funds go into your PSN wallet. To add more, purchase an additional card. The wallet itself accumulates balances from multiple codes up to the $150 cap.

Refunds, lost cards & acceptance

No. PlayStation Store codes are non-refundable once purchased. An unredeemed code can be re-gifted, but once the funds are in a wallet they cannot be transferred out or cashed out.

Sony will not replace codes that are lost, destroyed, or stolen. Contact PlayStation Support with proof of purchase -- they cannot guarantee replacement, but may be able to help if the code has not been redeemed. Redeem codes promptly after purchase and store the confirmation email as your proof.

No. PlayStation Store codes are region-locked. A US code only redeems on a PSN account registered in the United States. Match the card's region to the recipient's account region before buying.
