Yes, both in store and online. REI does not publish a cap on how many cards you can apply to a single purchase.

On Dyme, $25 to $200. REI's own site and in-store registers offer $5 to $1,000 in whole-dollar increments for both physical and digital formats.
Balance, reloads & expiry
No. REI gift cards never expire and carry no dormancy fees. The full purchased value stays on the card until redeemed.

Refunds, lost cards & acceptance
REI cannot replace or refund gift cards that are lost or stolen, except where required by law -- the card is treated like cash. To reduce risk, save the card number and PIN from the delivery email separately, or load the card into the REI app where it is tied to your account.
No. REI gift cards are valid only at REI and REI Outlet stores, at rei.com, and for REI Adventures trips. They are not accepted at REI-branded products sold by third parties, or at Bass Pro Shops, Cabela's, Backcountry, or any other retailer.
No. REI gift cards are non-refundable once purchased and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law. They can be re-gifted or applied to any eligible purchase, including REI Adventures trips.
Buying & corporate
Yes. REI runs a corporate gift-card program for volume orders with custom amounts and consolidated invoicing, aimed at employee rewards, incentives, and client gifts.
