Using your gift card
Yes. Multiple gift cards stack into a single pool of account credit the recipient draws from across rentals, subscription billing cycles, and resale purchases over time.
The card converts to account credit and applies toward any Rent the Runway service: a membership plan, a one-time event rental, or purchases in the RTR resale shop. The recipient enters the code in their account and the credit posts immediately.
On Dyme, $25 to $200. Through renttherunway.com, $25 to $500 per card.
Balance, reloads & expiry
No. Rent the Runway gift cards do not expire and carry no activation or dormancy fees. The credit stays in the account until it is used.
Once applied to a Rent the Runway account, the remaining credit is visible in the account dashboard. Before applying it, the value can be checked on the Rent the Runway gift-card page with the card code.
Refunds, lost cards & acceptance
Rent the Runway digital gift cards are treated like cash -- anyone with the code can use it. However, if the card has not been fully redeemed and you have proof of purchase, contact Rent the Runway customer support: they can cancel the original and reissue a new card for the remaining balance. Act quickly before the balance is spent.
Yes. The credit applies to membership billing as well as one-time rentals and the resale shop, so it works whether the recipient is a subscriber or an occasional renter.
Gift cards are generally non-refundable once purchased, as the terms specify they are not redeemable for cash. For issues with an unredeemed card, contact Rent the Runway customer support.
Buying & corporate
Yes. Rent the Runway offers a bulk and corporate gifting option for employee perks and client gifts, with custom amounts and volume ordering.
