Sunset Boulevard runs through one of the most concentrated hotel corridors in Los Angeles, and picking the right block matters more than most travelers expect. These five hotels are within West Hollywood's city boundaries, between Doheny Drive and La Brea Avenue.
How we selected these hotels
Every property here has a confirmed address inside West Hollywood, and properties in adjacent neighborhoods, including Beverly Hills and Hollywood proper, were excluded.
- 1. Star rating set the order.
- 2. Guest score resolved any remaining differences.
The result skews toward Sunset Strip properties because that corridor holds the highest concentration of full-service hotels in the neighborhood.

Getting around West Hollywood
- West Hollywood has no Metro rail station. The Metro Local Line 2 runs the length of Sunset Boulevard and stops within a short walk of every property here.
- Metro Local Line 4 covers Santa Monica Boulevard and connects to Beverly Hills to the west and Hollywood to the east.
- Rideshare pickup is common along Sunset Boulevard, and most hotels have a designated pickup zone at the front entrance.
- Street parking on the Strip is limited. If you drive, confirm whether your hotel offers valet or a self-park structure before you arrive.
What to expect along the Sunset Strip
The five hotels here are within roughly half a mile of each other on or just off Sunset Boulevard. That proximity means you get walkable access to the same restaurants, clubs, and shops regardless of which property you book. The trade-off is noise: rooms facing Sunset can be loud on weekend nights, so ask for a higher floor or a courtyard-facing room if that matters to you. The Sunset Marquis is one block south on Alta Loma Road and trades Strip-front energy for a quieter, villa-style setting without giving up walkability.
