No separate activation step is needed. E-gift cards bought through Dyme are ready to use immediately. Physical cards are activated at the register when purchased. To use online, enter the card number and PIN at checkout.
Through Dyme, e-gift cards are available from $25 to $200. On bananarepublic.gap.com and in Gap Inc. stores, physical and e-gift cards are available from $5 to $500 in whole-dollar increments.
Balance, reloads & expiry
No. Banana Republic gift cards never expire and carry no dormancy or service fees. The full purchased value stays intact whether the card is used next week or years from now.
Enter the card number and PIN on Banana Republic's gift card balance page at bananarepublic.gap.com/my-account/gift-cards-balance. The current balance shows immediately with no account login required. Check your Banana Republic balance
Yes. You can reload a Banana Republic physical gift card by visiting the gift card section of bananarepublic.gap.com or by asking at a Gap Inc. store register. Select Reload Gift Card, then enter your card number and PIN.
Refunds, lost cards & acceptance
No. Gift cards are non-refundable once purchased. They can be re-gifted or applied toward any eligible purchase across the Gap Inc. family of brands.
Call 1-888-BR-STYLE (1-888-277-8953) to report a lost or stolen card. Banana Republic will issue a replacement for the remaining balance if you have the original receipt. Without proof of purchase, replacement cannot be guaranteed.
Yes. A Banana Republic gift card is issued by Gap Inc.'s Direct Consumer Services and works at every brand in the family: Gap, Gap Factory, Banana Republic, Banana Republic Factory, Old Navy, and Athleta, both in store and online in the US and Canada.
