No. Bloomingdale's gift cards never expire and carry no dormancy or service fees. The full purchased value stays on the card indefinitely.

Refunds, lost cards & acceptance
No. Bloomingdale's gift cards are non-refundable once purchased. They can be re-gifted, applied to a purchase, or redeemed online.
Bloomingdale's may replace a lost or stolen card if you have proof of purchase. Contact customer service at 1-800-203-3481 with your original receipt or order number. Replacement is for the remaining value on record. Without proof of purchase, replacement is not guaranteed.
No. Bloomingdale's and Macy's are separate banners under Macy's, Inc., and each issues its own gift card. A Bloomingdale's gift card is only valid at Bloomingdale's stores and bloomingdales.com.
