Yes. A gift card is applied as payment toward the booking, so it stacks on top of promotional fares and Have It All bundles that include onboard credit and extras. Multiple gift cards can be applied to a single booking.
Provide the card number and PIN when paying a deposit or balance through Holland America at hollandamerica.com, through your My Account, or via a travel advisor. Physical cards are activated at purchase. E-gift cards are delivered ready to use; provide the card number and PIN to a Holland America booking agent or enter them through My Account. No separate activation step is required.
$25 to $2,000 in whole-dollar increments through Dyme and through hollandamerica.com, making them well-suited for covering cruise deposits and onboard spending on longer voyages.
Balance, reloads & expiry
No. Holland America Line gift cards carry no expiration date and no fees. The value stays available to apply toward a booking until it is used.

No. Holland America gift cards are not reloadable. Purchase a new card to add additional cruise credit.
Refunds, lost cards & acceptance
No. Holland America gift cards are not refundable or redeemable for cash, except where required by law. An unredeemed card can be re-gifted by passing along the card number and PIN before it is applied to a booking.
Holland America does not accept responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards or unauthorized use, and does not guarantee replacement. Contact Holland America at 1-855-501-4161 immediately with the card number and any proof of purchase. If the balance has not been applied, customer service may be able to assist.
No. Each Carnival Corporation brand operates its own separate gift card program. A Holland America gift card cannot be used on Princess Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line, Cunard, or any other brand in the group, even though they share the same parent company.
Buying & corporate
Through Dyme, on hollandamerica.com, at select cruise gift card resellers, and occasionally through warehouse clubs. Some authorized resellers offer a modest discount.
