Lyft Gift Card FAQ

Open the Lyft app, tap the menu, select Payment, then Add Lyft Cash, and choose Gift Card. Enter the 16-digit code and tap Redeem. The funds are added to your Lyft Cash and used automatically on future rides. A default payment method in the app is required even when using gift card credit.

Lyft Cash can be used for rideshare rides, Lyft bikes and scooters, and eligible Lyft services in the app. It cannot be transferred to another user or used to pay for Lyft Pink subscriptions directly. See how to use your Lyft card

Yes. You can redeem multiple Lyft gift card codes, and each balance adds to your total Lyft Cash. Note that Lyft enforces a $500 maximum Lyft Cash balance on an account.

Through Dyme, presets run from $25 to $200. Lyft also sells physical gift cards at many retailers in denominations of $25, $50, and $100.

No. Lyft gift cards do not expire and carry no fees. The balance stays in your Lyft Cash until you use it.

Lyft cannot replace lost or stolen gift cards. The card code is treated like cash. If you purchased a physical card at retail, keep your receipt as the only record of the code. Once a code is redeemed into an account, it is protected by your Lyft account login.

No. Lyft Cash is only usable within the Lyft app. It cannot be used on Uber, DoorDash, or any other platform.

No. Lyft Cash is not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred out of the Lyft app. It can only be spent on Lyft rides and services.
