Using your gift card
Restaurant.com credit pools in your account, so multiple gift cards applied to the same account combine into a single balance you draw from when selecting certificates.
It is redeemed in the Restaurant.com marketplace, not at a single restaurant. The recipient applies the code to their account, then exchanges the credit for dining certificates at thousands of participating independent restaurants nationwide. Balance, reloads & expiry
The gift card itself does not expire. Individual dining certificates you exchange it for carry their own terms -- including possible expiration dates and minimum spend requirements -- shown before you confirm each certificate.

Refunds, lost cards & acceptance
Contact Restaurant.com customer service immediately if you believe a card code has been compromised. If the credit has not yet been applied to an account, they may be able to deactivate the original code and reissue a new one. Once certificates have been purchased from the credit, that value cannot be recovered. Keep the delivery email as proof of purchase.
Restaurant.com primarily partners with independent restaurants. Major national chains are generally not in the network. Use the zip-code search on restaurant.com before gifting to confirm participating options in the recipient's area.
Restaurant.com offers a 30-day refund policy -- contact their customer service within 30 days of purchase for refund eligibility. After 30 days, gift cards are non-refundable. Unused certificates can generally be exchanged for a different participating restaurant.
Buying & corporate
Yes. There is a corporate and incentive program for employee rewards, client gifts, and promotions, with custom amounts and bulk ordering.
