Using your gift card
Yes. Target allows multiple GiftCards to be combined on a single purchase, both in store and on target.com.
At any Target store in the US, on target.com, and in the Target app. The card covers essentially everything Target sells -- groceries, apparel, electronics, home goods, and pharmacy. It is not accepted at other retailers. How to use your Target card
Through Dyme, $25 to $200. Target's own site and stores sell GiftCards from $5 to $500 in variable amounts. eGift cards purchased online can also be set to any custom value.
Balance, reloads & expiry
No. Target GiftCards carry no expiration date and no dormancy or service fees.
Visit target.com/guest/gift-card-balance and enter the card number and access code, or call 1-800-544-2943. The balance is also displayed in the Target app once the card is added. Check your Target balance
Refunds, lost cards & acceptance
Call 1-800-544-2943 immediately. Target can replace the remaining value on a lost, stolen, or damaged card if you have the original purchase receipt. Without proof of purchase, replacement is not guaranteed. Treat the card like cash.
No. Target GiftCards are redeemable only at Target stores and on target.com. They are not accepted at Walmart, Amazon, or any other retailer.
No. Target GiftCards are non-refundable. The balance can be re-gifted or applied to any future Target purchase.
Buying & corporate
Yes. Target stores carry a large selection of third-party gift cards -- restaurant, entertainment, retail, and prepaid Visa and Mastercard cards. However, you cannot use a Target GiftCard to purchase other gift cards; that restriction is enforced at checkout as a fraud prevention measure.
