Display rules

What you can and cannot do with the data.

These rules apply to the Dyme Affiliates API, the Dyme Affiliates MCP server when used with a key, and the widgets. Using a key means you accept them.

Photos and text

  • Link to photos at the URLs returned. Do not download, copy, resize, or re-host them, and do not pass them through an image-resizing service. Dyme's supplier license covers display, not redistribution. For small images, use thumbnail_url.
  • Do not alter the meaning of hotel descriptions. Truncation is permitted.

Searches

  • You may store and reuse any answer for up to 24 hours. A page that shows the same hotels to every visitor, such as a city guide, may be built from one search a day.
  • Do not copy the catalog: do not run searches to build or refresh a hotel database, keep answers longer than 24 hours, or monitor other sites.
  • Credit Dyme with a link ("Book on Dyme") wherever Dyme hotels are displayed. Make it a credited link; see attribution.
  • Send travelers to the url values returned, or to URLs stamped by POST /links. Hand-built links may not carry attribution.
  • Booking takes place on Dyme. Travelers sign in or create a Dyme account at checkout, on the page. Do not send a traveler to a login page.

Allowance

  • Keyless: 30 requests per hour per IP address.
  • Standard key: 2,000 requests per day. Higher limits by arrangement.
  • Keys are used from a server only.
  • Dyme may revoke a key that breaches these rules or harms its partners.

Attribution

Bookings are credited to the key for 90 days after the traveler's click, on a last-click basis.
