Where to Buy Belk Gift Cards: Deals, Rewards & Miles

Belk gift cards work at every Belk store across the South and on belk.com, spanning apparel, shoes, beauty, jewelry, and home. They never expire, carry no fees, and come in physical or digital form. The four ways to buy them differ on speed, denomination caps, and whether you earn anything back on the purchase. Here’s how each one works.

What a BELK gift card gets you

The same card spends across every department at Belk’s nearly 300 stores and on belk.com: apparel, shoes, beauty, fine jewelry, handbags, and home goods from the brands Belk carries across 16 Southern states. Unlike a bank-issued Visa or Mastercard gift card, there are no activation or per-purchase fees, and the balance never gets chipped away by dormancy charges. Gift cards cannot be used to pay a Belk Rewards credit card bill.

two formats:

  • Physical card: Mailed in a card carrier. $25 to $500 per card via belk.com.
  • E-gift card: Emailed within minutes, redeemable online or shown on your phone in store. $15 to $500 per card via Dyme; $25 to $500 via belk.com.

You can apply more than one Belk gift card to a single purchase in store or online; Belk does not publish a cap on how many you can combine.

Can I get a BELK gift card at a discount?

Yes, but not through Dyme. Dyme sells Belk e-gift cards at face value; the value-add is Dyme Miles, paperless delivery, and supporting renewable energy projects, not a face-value discount. The discount channels are:

  • Costco or Sam's Club, in store. Periodic multi-pack discounts on physical Belk cards appear in club warehouses across Belk’s Southern footprint. Supply rotates and isn’t always in stock. Physical only, club membership required.
  • Secondary marketplaces (Raise, CardCash). Resold Belk gift cards from third parties, typically a few percent below face value. Verify the balance before redeeming, since secondary sellers occasionally list cards with partial balances.
  • Belk direct promotions. Rare on gift cards. Belk runs frequent sitewide sales and coupons on merchandise, but gift-card SKUs are typically excluded from those promo codes.

The bigger combined return comes from the rewards stack below: your credit card, Belk Rewards at redemption, and Dyme Miles on the purchase. Most buyers leave that money on the table.

How to stack rewards

Three rewards programs fire on a single Belk gift card purchase through Dyme.

Credit-card rewards

Your credit card earns rewards on the Dyme purchase.

Gift-card resellers typically code as MCC 5947; many cards exclude this MCC from category bonuses.

  • Capital One Venture X: 2x miles on essentially every purchase, including gift cards
  • Citi Double Cash: 2% back on everything (1% when you buy + 1% when you pay)
  • Amex Gold: falls back to 1x on gift cards. 4x dining and 4x groceries do not apply
  • Chase Sapphire Preferred: falls back to 1x on gift cards. 3x dining and 2x travel do not apply

Belk Rewards

  • Join cost: free
  • Applies at: redemption
  • Earning rate: points on merchandise when you pay with a Belk Rewards card
  • Reward threshold: points convert to Belk Reward Dollars redeemable on future purchases

Belk Rewards earns when you redeem the gift card on merchandise and pay with a linked Belk Rewards credit card, not on the gift-card purchase itself. The richest tiers (Premier, Elite) come with a Belk Rewards Mastercard.

Dyme Miles

  • Base rate: 1 Mile for every dollar
  • Special rate: 5 Miles per dollar
  • Expiration: never
  • Blackouts: none
  • Redeem on: over 2 million hotels and 600 airline partners

$100 Belk e-gift on Dyme, paid with Citi Double Cash, redeemed by a Belk Rewards member

  • Citi Double Cash: $2 back (2% of $100)
  • Belk Rewards at redemption: points toward Belk Reward Dollars when paid with a linked Belk Rewards card
  • Dyme Miles on the purchase: 100 Miles (1 per dollar), or 500 on a special offer (5 per dollar)

Illustrative only. Card rates, brand-program terms, and Dyme Miles offers change and vary by member; figures above are examples, not a guarantee of value.

How to buy on belk.com

  1. Go to belk.com and open the gift cards page.
  2. Choose physical or e-gift, then pick a design and the amount.
  3. Add to bag and check out. Belk does not run a member discount on gift cards, and Belk Rewards points do not accrue on gift-card purchases.

How to buy in store

Any Belk register sells gift cards. Tell the associate the amount you want, pay with cash, credit, or another gift card, and walk out with the card. You can load any whole-dollar amount from $25 to $500.

How to buy at Costco, Sam's Club, or a supermarket

Costco and Sam's Club periodically run multi-pack Belk gift cards at a discount in their Southeastern warehouses. Stock and pricing rotate. Supermarket gift-card racks at Kroger, Publix, Food Lion, and Harris Teeter carry $25, $50, and $100 Belk cards at face value. You pay no discount but earn the supermarket’s loyalty points and any fuel rewards that apply to gift-card purchases.

Designs and personalization

Physical cards: several designs in the Belk online catalog, including seasonal options for the holidays, Mother’s Day, and graduation. A card carrier and a personal message are available at checkout.

E-gift cards: multiple designs, a customizable subject line, and a recipient message.

There is no co-branded or custom-art option for individual purchase. For bulk orders, see corporate ordering below.

Delivery and timing

  • E-gift via Dyme: 1 to 60 minutes by email. Add to Apple Wallet or Google Pay directly from the email.
  • E-gift via belk.com: 1 to 60 minutes by email.
  • Physical via belk.com: 5 to 10 business days standard. Express options available at checkout.

Dyme does not mail physical cards. If you need a physical card in hand, belk.com or a retail aisle is the path.
