Do Carnival Cruise Lines gift cards expire?
Standard Carnival gift cards carry no expiration date and no dormancy fees, so the balance stays intact whether you sail this season or plan a year out. Keep the card and the PIN secure — they function like cash, and Carnival will not replace lost, stolen, or damaged cards. PIN verification is required at every redemption, with no exceptions.
Can I use a Carnival gift card toward a cruise deposit?
Yes. Carnival accepts gift cards as a form of payment toward your cruise deposit as well as the final balance. On the carnival.com payment page, select the Gift Card tab, enter the number and PIN, and apply the amount. You can stack multiple gift cards on a single booking, and combine them with a credit card for any remaining balance.
Can I use a Carnival gift card on Princess, Holland America, or another Carnival Corporation brand?
No. Carnival Cruise Line gift cards are redeemable only on cruises sold or operated by Carnival Cruise Line itself. Even though Carnival Corporation owns Princess, Holland America, Cunard, Seabourn, and others, gift cards are closed-loop to Carnival Cruise Line and cannot transfer across sister brands — each line sells its own gift cards separately.
What denominations are available?
