Yes, at the counter a barista can apply more than one gift card to a single purchase. Balances loaded into the Rewards app combine into one stored value you pay with in a single scan.
At participating CBTL cafes across the United States, on coffeebean.com for whole-bean coffee, loose-leaf tea, and brewing equipment, and inside The Coffee Bean Rewards app for mobile ordering. Airport kiosks and a handful of licensed locations may not participate. Physical and digital cards load from $5 to $100 in whole-dollar increments through coffeebean.com or any CBTL cafe counter. Through Dyme, e-gift cards are available up to $100.
Balance, reloads & expiry
No. CBTL cards never expire and carry no dormancy, inactivity, or service fees. The full purchased value stays on the card until spent.
Enter the card number and PIN on the CBTL self-service portal at coffeebean.cashstar.com/self_service, or call 1-855-409-7410. Adding the card to The Coffee Bean Rewards app also shows the remaining value next to your account. Check your Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf balance
Yes. Physical and digital cards can be reloaded at a cafe register or through The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf app, so a card given once can be topped up rather than replaced.
Refunds, lost cards & acceptance
Call 1-800-832-5323 or visit coffeebean.com. CBTL will replace a lost or stolen card only if you have an original sales receipt or if the card was registered in advance. Replacement value is the balance remaining at the time you report the loss. Cards that cannot be verified are not replaced.
No. CBTL gift cards are valid only at participating Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf locations and on coffeebean.com. They are not accepted at Starbucks, Dutch Bros, Peet's, or any other coffee brand.
Buying & corporate
Yes. CBTL runs a corporate gift-card program for employee recognition, client gifts, and incentives, with volume ordering and custom amounts. Contact the CBTL corporate gift-card team to start an order.
