Using your gift card

Yes. Redeeming a second Microsoft 365 Personal key on an account that already has an active Personal subscription extends the plan by another year. The time stacks rather than overlapping. You cannot combine a Personal key with a Family key on the same account.

Go to microsoft.com/redeem, sign in to a Microsoft account, and enter the 25-character product key. The subscription activates on that account immediately.

One year of the single-user Microsoft 365 Personal plan: the premium Office apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), 1 TB of OneDrive cloud storage, and ongoing security features for one person on any number of devices you own.

It covers one person across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. It does not cover family members — for up to six users, you need Microsoft 365 Family. The plan also does not include Microsoft Teams Phone or enterprise features.

Balance, reloads & expiry

The product key should be redeemed before its stated expiration printed on the packaging. Once redeemed, the subscription runs for 12 months from activation. If you already have an active subscription, a second key extends it by another year.

Yes. After redeeming the key at microsoft.com/redeem, sign into your Microsoft account and go to Services and subscriptions. The renewal date confirms activation. There is no spendable balance to check — the card activates a fixed 12-month plan. Check your Microsoft account balance and subscriptions

Refunds, lost cards & acceptance

Gift cards and subscription keys are generally non-refundable once redeemed. Before redemption, refund eligibility follows the seller's return policy.

Microsoft is not responsible for lost or stolen product keys used without your permission. If you lose an unredeemed card, contact Microsoft Support with your proof of purchase — they may be able to assist, but replacement is not guaranteed. Once a key is redeemed, the subscription is tied to the Microsoft account and the physical card has no further value.

No. This is a product key specifically for one year of Microsoft 365 Personal — not a dollar-balance gift card redeemable across the Microsoft Store. For games, apps, or flexible spending on Microsoft products, you would need a Microsoft Store gift card instead.
