The standard Subway Card system does not allow splitting a single transaction across two physical cards at the register. If you want to consolidate balances, register both cards in the Subway app -- the app lets you pick which card pays for an order. Confirm multi-card in-store capability at your specific location.

Balance, reloads & expiry
No. Subway gift cards carry no expiration date and no dormancy or service fees. The balance stays on the card until it's spent.

Refunds, lost cards & acceptance
If the card is registered, Subway can freeze the remaining balance and issue a replacement -- contact Subway Guest Care at subway.com/en-us/contactus to initiate a claim and provide proof of purchase. Unregistered cards cannot be replaced. Register your card at subway.com or in the Subway app as soon as you receive it.
No. Subway gift cards are accepted only at participating Subway locations in the US and Canada. They are not valid at other QSR brands.
Buying & corporate
No. Subway locations sell only Subway Cards -- they do not operate a third-party gift card rack. For other brands, retailers like Walgreens, CVS, and grocery stores carry a wide selection.
