- Doraville is the northern end of the Gold Line, and Chamblee is one stop south. Trains from either run straight to Lenox in Buckhead, Midtown, Downtown, and the airport with no transfers.
- MARTA trains run every 10 to 12 minutes at peak, every 12 at midday and every 20 late at night. Add 10 minutes to your plan if you're carrying checked luggage.
- Hartsfield-Jackson Airport is about 43 minutes from Doraville on the Gold Line. You stay on one train the whole way.
- A rideshare is the easy option if a bag-heavy morning makes the trip to the station impractical.
Transit options beyond the Gold Line
MARTA bus route 39 connects Doraville Station to Buford Highway, where you can reach grocery stores, restaurants, and medical offices without a car.
If you'd rather skip the walk at 6am before a flight, a rideshare from your hotel to the station is the easy fix. That's a small price for one train all the way to the airport. Heading toward the city, Buckhead is a short Gold Line ride away at Lenox, with a wider range of hotels.
