Three Atlanta hotels where the pool is a reason to book, not an afterthought next to the parking deck. We picked on pool quality and size first, then let star rating break any ties. We cut two properties we'd originally considered: the Loews Atlanta doesn't have a pool at all despite appearing on older roundups, and we couldn't verify a Peninsula property operating in Atlanta.
How we ranked Atlanta hotels with pools
Pool quality and size drove every placement. A proper rooftop deck or a multi-zone resort-style pool qualifies. A small rectangle in a basement does not. We confirmed each pool is currently operating under the hotel's stated name and brand as of 2026. We excluded 1 Hotel Centennial Olympic Park because its pool is not available in recent reporting, and we removed the Loews Atlanta after verifying the property has no pool on site.

Before you book: pool access in Atlanta
- The W Atlanta Midtown WET Deck opens to the public on Sundays. If you want the deck less crowded, aim for a weekday or book a cabana.
- Signia by Hilton's rooftop Highball pool is saltwater, overlooks Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and sells daytime access to non-guests through ResortPass.
- Atlanta summers run hot from May through September, which is when the rooftop decks earn their rent.
- MARTA's Red and Gold lines cover Midtown and Downtown. The Omni and Signia are a short walk from the GWCC/CNN Center station.
