No. Physical cards are activated at the register when purchased. E-gift cards are ready to use immediately on receipt.
Physical cards load $10 to $500 in store or on acehardware.com. Through Dyme, e-gift cards run $5 to $250 with $25, $50, $75, $100, $150, and $200 presets.
Balance, reloads & expiry
No. Ace Hardware gift cards do not expire and carry no dormancy or service fees. The full purchased value stays on the card until redeemed.
Enter the card number and any required PIN on the Ace Hardware gift card balance page, or ask an associate at any store register. Check your Ace Hardware balance.
Ace Hardware gift cards are not designed as reloadable cards. Once the balance is spent, purchase a new card at any Ace store or on acehardware.com.
Refunds, lost cards & acceptance
No. Gift cards are non-refundable once purchased. They can be re-gifted, applied to a purchase, or redeemed online for any item Ace carries.
Ace Hardware will replace a lost or stolen card only upon presentation of the gift card number, and only for the available balance on record. Keep the card number written down separately from the card. To report a lost or stolen card, call 1-888-749-1509.
No. Ace Hardware gift cards are valid only at Ace Hardware stores and acehardware.com. They are not accepted at Home Depot, Lowe's, or any other retailer.
Buying & corporate
Yes. Ace runs a corporate gift-card program for volume orders with custom amounts and invoicing for employee gifts, incentives, and customer appreciation.
