Versions and changes
The Dyme MCP server has one version number, sent as serverInfo.version when an assistant connects and as version in tools.json. tools.json also carries a fingerprint: a short hash of every tool's name, arguments and hints. If the fingerprint you saw last differs from today's, the tools have changed, and this page says how.
How the version moves
| Change | Version |
|---|---|
| A tool is removed or renamed, or an argument is removed or becomes required | Major (2.0.0) |
| A tool or an optional argument is added | Minor (1.2.0) |
| Wording, results or fixes, with the same tools and arguments | Patch (1.1.1) |
A tool or argument that is going away is marked here at least 30 days before it is removed.
